During the period from October 20 to 26, a total of 40,453 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX), representing a 0.6% increase compared to the previous week. Of these, 41.9% were executed through exchange trading, while the remaining 58.1% were conducted via electronic trading systems.

As a result of electronic public procurement auctions, the total savings for budgetary and corporate customers amounted to 219.3 billion UZS.

During the reporting period, 222 phone numbers were sold through the online auction system.

Exchange Trading

Over the reporting period, 16,956 transactions were concluded in the open exchange trading system.

Flour

A total of 8,290.0 tons of flour were sold through exchange trading. The average daily trading volume reached 1,658.0 tons, with an average of 103 buyers participating daily.

During the reviewed period, the average daily price of flour decreased from 4,118.1 thousand UZS to 3,722.5 thousand UZS per ton.

Cottonseed Oil

Last week, 4,049.0 tons of cottonseed oil were sold through exchange trading. The average daily sales volume was 810.0 tons, with an average of 11 buyers participating per day.

During the reporting period, the average daily price for all grades of cottonseed oil decreased from 16,462.6 thousand UZS to 11,307.7 thousand UZS per ton.

Polyethylene

A total of 3,810.0 tons of polyethylene were offered on the exchange, and the entire volume was sold. The average daily trading volume was 762.0 tons.

Over the reviewed period, the average daily price of polyethylene decreased from 15,959.4 thousand UZS to 15,309.0 thousand UZS per ton. On average, 65 buyers participated in exchange trading daily.
