During the week of May 26 to June 1, a total of 47,363 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX), representing a 7.3% decrease compared to the previous week. Of these, 44.9% were conducted on the exchange trading floors, while the remaining 55.1% were carried out through electronic commerce trading systems.

As a result of electronic government procurement auctions, a total of UZS 149.8 billion was saved for budgetary and corporate customers.

During the reporting period, 3,381 vehicle registration numbers were sold through the online auction platform.

Exchange Trading

Over the reporting period, 21,254 transactions were concluded in the open exchange market.

Flour

A total of 56,800.0 tons of flour were put up for sale, of which 12,825.0 tons (or 22.6%) were sold. On average, 130 buyers participated in the exchange auctions daily.

The daily average price for 1st-grade flour decreased from UZS 3,589,800 to UZS 3,443,600 per ton over the period. The daily average sales volume amounted to 2,565.0 tons.

Technical Seeds

A total of 3,891.0 tons of technical seeds were sold through exchange trading. An average of 4 buyers participated in these trades daily. The daily average sales volume was 778.0 tons.

The daily average price for technical seeds decreased from UZS 6,393,100 to UZS 4,698,700 per ton during the period.

Urea

During the past week, 25,791.0 tons of urea were offered for sale, of which 17,079.0 tons (or 66.2%) were sold. An average of 1,051 buyers participated in daily trading.

The daily average price for all grades of urea decreased from UZS 3,884,800 to UZS 3,860,400 per ton over the reporting period.
