During the last week, that is, from July 7 to July 13, a total of 43,840 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX), which is 5.4% more than the previous week. Of these, 41.5% were executed through exchange trading, while the remaining 58.5% were conducted via electronic trading systems.

As a result of government procurement e-trading, budgetary and corporate customers saved a total of 130.1 billion UZS.

During the reporting period, 3,494 license plate numbers were sold through online auctions.

Exchange Trading

A total of 18,190 transactions were concluded through open exchange trading during the reporting period.

Wheat

Last week, 82,772.0 tons of wheat were sold via exchange trading. The average daily sales volume was 16,554.0 tons.

During the reporting period, the average daily price of wheat decreased from 2,809.0 thousand UZS to 2,791.4 thousand UZS per ton. An average of 125 buyers participated in the exchange trades daily.

Technical Seeds

A total of 1,867.0 tons of technical seeds were sold through exchange trading. On average, 2 buyers participated in the trades daily. The average daily sales volume was 373.0 tons.

The average daily price of technical seeds decreased from 4,205.9 thousand UZS to 3,917.2 thousand UZS per ton during the period.

Ammonium Nitrate

Over the past week, 22,053.0 tons of ammonium nitrate were sold. The average daily sales volume reached 4,411.0 tons.

During the reporting period, the average daily price of all grades of ammonium nitrate decreased from 2,866.2 thousand UZS to 2,854.4 thousand UZS per ton. An average of 630 buyers participated in the trades daily.
