During the past week, from July 14 to July 20, a total of 43,928 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX), representing a 0.2% increase compared to the previous week. Of these transactions, 43.4% were made through exchange trading, while the remaining 56.6% were conducted via e-commerce trading systems.

As a result of electronic government procurement auctions, the total budgetary and corporate savings amounted to UZS 145.1 billion.

During the same period, 3,529 vehicle license plates were sold via online auction.

Exchange Trading Activity

A total of 19,068 transactions were concluded through open exchange trading during the reporting period.

Wheat

Over the past week, 137,699.0 tons of wheat were sold. The average daily sales volume reached 27,540.0 tons.

The average daily price of wheat decreased from UZS 2,752.3 thousand to UZS 2,609.1 thousand per ton. An average of 147 buyers participated in the exchange trading sessions each day.

Cottonseed Oil

During the past week, 308.0 tons of cottonseed oil were sold via exchange trading. On average, 4 buyers participated in the daily trading sessions.

The average daily price for all grades of cottonseed oil decreased from UZS 17,273.8 thousand to UZS 15,496.2 thousand per ton.

Cathode Copper

A total of 2,204.0 tons of cathode copper were offered for exchange trading, of which 2,054.0 tons (or 93.2%) were sold. The average daily sales volume was 411.0 tons.

The average daily price for cathode copper slightly declined from UZS 131,809.8 thousand to UZS 131,631.5 thousand per ton. On average, 13 buyers took part in the exchange trading each day.
