Weekly UZEX Digest (January 12-January 18 )
Over the past week, from January 12 to 18, 2026, a total of 27,859 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange, which is 65.1% higher than the previous week. Of these, 51.8% were executed on the exchange itself, while the remaining 48.2% took place via electronic commerce trading systems.
As a result of electronic trading for government procurement, the total savings for budgetary and corporate clients amounted to UZS 93.1 billion.
During the reporting period, 256 phone numbers were sold through the online auction.
Exchange Trading
During the reporting period, 14,424 transactions were concluded on the open exchange.
Cement
A total of 308,575.0 tons of cement were offered on the exchange, of which 59,327.0 tons were sold, representing 19.2% of the total. The average daily trading volume was 11,865.0 tons.
During the period, the daily average price of cement decreased from UZS 592.0 thousand to UZS 562.7 thousand per ton, with an average of 46 buyers participating in the exchange trades daily.
Technical Seeds
Through exchange trading, 35,405.0 tons of technical seeds were sold. On average, 27 buyers participated daily, with an average daily trading volume of 7,081.0 tons.
Over the reporting period, the daily average price of technical seeds fell from UZS 5,170.5 thousand to UZS 4,712.4 thousand per ton.
Ammophos
During the past week, 7,083.0 tons of ammophos were offered for sale, of which 3,216.0 tons were sold, representing 45.4% of the total. The average daily trading volume of ammophos was 643.0 tons.
During the period, the daily average price of ammophos decreased slightly from UZS 7,702.5 thousand to UZS 7,697.6 thousand per ton, with an average of 194 buyers participating in the exchange trades daily.
