During the last week, from August 4 to August 10, a total of 36,807 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the JSC “Uzbek Commodity Exchange,” which is 2.6% less compared to the previous week. Of these, 37.9% were conducted through exchange trading, while the remaining 62.1% were executed via e-commerce trading systems.

As a result of electronic government procurement auctions, the total savings for budgetary and corporate customers amounted to UZS 163.3 billion.

During the reporting period, 3,187 license plates were sold through online auctions.

Exchange Trading

During the reporting period, 13,942 transactions were concluded in the open exchange market.

Ferrous Metal Products

During the past week, 10,898.0 tons of ferrous metal products were put up for sale, of which 6,193.0 tons (or 56.8%) were sold.

Over the period under review, the average daily price for ferrous metal products decreased from UZS 9,588.1 thousand to UZS 9,513.3 thousand per ton. An average of 48 buyers participated daily in exchange trading.

Wheat

A total of 135,336.0 tons of wheat were sold through exchange trading. The average daily sales volume was 27,067.0 tons.

Over the period under review, the average daily price for wheat fell from UZS 2,709.7 thousand to UZS 2,631.6 thousand per ton. On average, 165 buyers participated daily in exchange trading.

Ammonium Sulfate

Last week, 3,923.0 tons of ammonium sulfate were sold on the exchange. On average, 87 buyers participated daily in these trades, with an average daily sales volume of 785.0 tons.

Over the period under review, the average daily price for ammonium sulfate decreased from UZS 2,649.3 thousand to UZS 2,641.5 thousand per ton.
